We are without a doubt advocates for learning to sail on the water, but good reading material is always useful. In the past we have used many different books, but we always felt they were missing something, overcomplicating sailing and skipping crucial steps. So we decided to write our own book: Sail Like A PRO, the product of over 50,000 miles of teaching how to sail. The book complements our tried and proven teaching techniques.
Sail Like A PRO is the Australian handbook to learn to sail. It’s full of practical advice, from basic manoeuvres, safety procedures, navigation and dealing with emergencies, to purchasing a boat, maintenance and racing. This handy pocket guide is perfect for novice sailors and a good reference manual for the more experienced skipper. Our good friend and 8 time Volvo Ocean Race legend, Bouwe Bekking, wrote an inspiring foreword that ties in beautifully with our attitude of sharing our passion for sailing.
